Giving

Giving is your investment in the Kingdom of God. According to the word of God you must always give from your heart and you must do it sacrificially. In other words, you should not do it out of compulsion but willingly. Your giving enables our senior pastor and his team to take the gospel (the good news) of God’s great salvation to the ends of the world for the salvation of precious souls. You may not be able to go to countries in different continents to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ but our senior pastor and his team are more than willing to go to different places in the world as directed by the Lord to propagate the gospel for the salvation of others. Therefore, whatever your heart stirs within you to give, we encourage you to do so for the reasons explained above. We read:

“Everyone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit moved him came and brought the Lord’s offering to be used for the Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and for the Holy garments” (Exodus 35:21).

There is a great reward in giving to the service of the Lord. God is able to multiply the harvest of your giving and also make every favour and earthly blessing come in abundance to you, so that you may always under all circumstances, regardless of the need have complete sufficiency in everything being completely self-sufficient in Him and have an abundance for every work and act of charity. We read:

“Give and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure – pressed down, shaken together and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return” (Luke 6:38, AMP).

“Now [remember] this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to others will also reap generously [and be blessed]. Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver 9and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift]. And God is able to make all grace [every favour and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him, and have an abundance for every work and act of charity” (2 Corinthians 9:6, AMP).

Tithing is ten percent of all your incoming resources. If you like, your tithing is like taxes needed to be used for the establishment of the Kingdom of God in the hearts of all mankind. The Lord commands us to bring all our tithes into the storehouse (House of God) and there is a mighty blessing that God pours on us when we willingly obey his command – (a) God wants us to put Him to test when we tithe; (b) God says “I will rebuke the enemy for your sake and I will protect all your incoming resources”; (c) God will open the windows of heaven and pour you out a mighty flow of blessing upon you; (d) People will recognise God’s ever increasing blessing flowing freely in your life. We read:

“Bring all the tithes and offerings (the tenth) into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the Lord of host, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour you out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it. Then I will rebuke the devourer (insects, plague) for your sake and he will not destroy the fruits of the ground, nor will your vine in the field drop its grapes [before harvest],” says the LORD of hosts. “All nations shall call you blessed for you shall be a land of delight”, says the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 3:11-12, AMP).
