The Scriptures Are the infallible and authoritative Word of God, without error, given for the purpose of directing mankind (men and women, boys and girls) to salvation.
God Is the creator of heaven and earth and the sustainer of all things. There is but One God, infinite, eternal, and perfect in holiness, truth and love.
The Triune God Consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are coexistent, coeternal and coequal.
God the son, Jesus Christ Was supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and was perfect. He was the vicarious sacrifice for the sin of all mankind through His death on the cross. He arose from the dead on the third day in His glorified body, appeared to many, ascended into heaven, and will return to earth in power and glory. He is now the Head of His body, the Church.
God the Holy Spirit Convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, unites mankind to Jesus Christ in faith, brings about the new birth, and dwells within the heart of believers enabling them to grow in sanctification.
The baptism with the Holy Spirit The baptism with the Holy Spirit is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ. The manifestation of this type of baptism is speaking in unknown tongues. The evidence is the empowering of believers to become effective witnesses of Jesus Christ. The gifts of the Holy Spirit (the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom, faith, working of miracles, prophesy, discerning of spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues) are available through the Holy Spirit for our guidance, profit and the common good of believers and even non-believers. The fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance) is also available to all believers through the Holy Spirit.
Humanity Was created in the image and likeness of God. Through the original sin of Adam and Eve, mankind has fallen from God and become sinful in nature. All mankind are totally incapable of returning to God by their efforts and are lost without hope, apart from the gift of salvation God has graciously made available to all mankind through Jesus Christ.
Salvation Is the gift of God through the grace and faith of Jesus Christ. There is no other name except that of Jesus Christ by which men and women, boys and girls may be saved by turning from sin to repentance and trusting in Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross and His resurrection from dead. By reposing faith in Christ every person can be saved (or born again) and receive eternal life (or the life of Christ) by the Holy Spirit.
The Church Is the body and bride of Christ whose task is to take the Gospel (the good news of God’s great salvation) to all people in all nations, and to make disciples of them.
The Consummation Of all things includes the visible, personal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the translation of those alive in Christ, into the presence of God for eternity.
